ReelGenie – Terms of Use

Welcome to ReelGenie (“ReelGenie,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ReelGenie website, applications, tools, and AI-powered content-generation services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

ReelGenie provides AI-powered tools designed to help users create short-form video content that resonates with current trends. Our AI may analyze patterns from millions of trending videos to provide insights, content suggestions, and creative assets for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts. ReelGenie does not guarantee virality, audience engagement, or any specific performance results.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have a parent or guardian’s permission to use the Service.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Maintain the security of your login credentials.
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account.

We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms.

4. User Content

4.2 License to ReelGenie
By using the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

  • Process User Content to provide the Service.
  • Store and transmit User Content as needed to operate the platform.
  • Use aggregated, de-identified data derived from User Content to improve and optimize our AI models.

We will not sell your User Content.

4.3 Responsibility for Content
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You agree not to upload or generate content that:

  • Violates any laws or regulations.
  • Infringes intellectual property rights.
  • Contains harmful, misleading, or abusive material.
  • Violates the content policies of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or other platforms.

5. Generated Content

The Service may produce AI-generated ideas, captions, scripts, visual asset suggestions, or recommendations. You understand and agree that:

  • Generated content may be similar to content produced for other users.
  • Generated content may not be accurate, original, or free from infringement.
  • You must review and ensure that any generated content complies with applicable laws and platform policies.

ReelGenie is not responsible for how you use AI-generated output.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property related to the Service—including software, algorithms, branding, and design—belongs exclusively to ReelGenie and its licensors. You may not:

  • Reverse-engineer or scrape the Service.
  • Copy, reproduce, or redistribute the Service or its components.
  • Use the Service to create competing products.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Create misleading or deceptive media (including undisclosed “deepfakes”).
  • Harass, defame, or impersonate others.
  • Generate spam, malware, or other harmful content.
  • Circumvent security or access unauthorized systems.

8. Payment & Subscription Terms

If you purchase a subscription or paid features:

  • Fees will be charged according to the pricing displayed at checkout.
  • Payments are non-refundable unless required by law or stated otherwise in a separate refund policy.
  • We may change pricing with prior notice where required by law.

Failure to pay may result in suspension of your account.

9. Third-Party Platforms

ReelGenie is not affiliated with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or other social platforms. Their terms, policies, and community guidelines apply to any content you post there. You are responsible for ensuring compliance.

10. Privacy

Our use of your information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, store, and process information. By using the Service, you consent to our privacy practices.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee:

  • That any content will go viral or achieve specific performance.
  • Uninterrupted or error-free service.
  • The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated insights.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • ReelGenie will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
  • Our total aggregate liability arising from or related to these Terms and your use of the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to ReelGenie in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $100 if you have not paid us).

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ReelGenie, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of:

  • Your User Content.
  • Your use of the Service.
  • Your violation of these Terms or applicable laws.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) will survive.

15. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice as required by law. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
